Max Larson HENRY is an IT Consultant at the One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) in Haiti, responsible for the deployment of a Wireless Network for Internet provisioning in the forty schools of the project in rural Area in Haiti. Prior to joining OLPC, he was the Technical Director at Multilink (One of the two largest Internet Service Providers in Haiti). Previous to that, he was an ICT consultant at the office of the Minister of Public Works, Transport and Communication. He is also working for the State University of Haiti managing the Haitian ccTLD .ht. A founding member of Haitian Association for ICT development (AHTIC), Max holds a MSc. in Database and System integration from CERAM(Centre Europeen de Recherche Appliquee au Management) in France, and a B.Sc. from the Faculty of Sciences of the State University of Haiti.

Hereby, I support the candidacy of Max Larson Henry as chair of the Public Forum of LACNIC. Mr. Henry has been working extensively in Haiti to push for the development of ICTs in the country. He has contributed in the establishment of the .ht domain name system in the country and lately, he has contributed in the establishment of the Haitian Internet Exchange Point.
He continuously participates at regional events and international events to move the ICT agenda forward, and addresses key isues like IPv6 adoption, DNSSEC, etc.
I think that Max Larson Henry will be very valuable as chair of the Public Forum of LACNIC.
