LACNIC at World IPv6 Day
LACNIC, in adhesion to the World IPv6 Day, supports this initiative of the Internet Society and will be transmitting via webcast the event to be held in its headquarters. Experiments in IPv6 environment will be carried out and statistics and information on this topic will be presented.
Once again, LACNIC supports this type of initiatives that contribute to community building, cooperation and collaborative work on the Internet.

Next June 8 will be an important day for the development and adoption of IPv6 since the World IPv6 Day will be held on that date. During that day the major content providers such as Google, Facebook and Yahoo and others will allow their sites to be natively IPv6 accessible.
Although the LACNIC website has been IPv6 accessible since a long time ago, some users may have access problems similar to those presented elsewhere in websites participating in the World IPv6 Day.
If any of the LACNIC services are inaccessible during June 8 or any other day we invite you to report it here rt-soporte-v6@lacnic.net.
Please, if possible, include the following information in order to solve the problem quickly:
- Name
- e-mail
- Service that cannot be accessed
- IPv6 source address from which you are testing
- Traceroute
