After the activities scheduled for Monday, LACNIC invites you to relax and share snacks and drinks with your colleagues and participants attending the LACNIC XIII meeting at the Fort Piscadera Bay of the Hilton hotel.

 The restored battlements of Fort Piscadera Bay lie within the resort. Captain John Bligh led a 19th-century English force that briefly dislodged the Dutch from the Fort which is now considered a Cultural Heritage of Curaçao.

Don’t miss it and don’t forget to present your personal card at the entrance!

Brakkeput mei mei

 

The name “Brakke Put” means: a well with brackish water. The plantation Brakkeput dates back to the beginning of the 18th century. Actually there are three plantations called Brakkeput: Ariba (upper), Mei Mei (middle) and Abou (lower).
The house is mostly built in the typical traditional style of the 18th century.

This evening will give you the opportunity to share with all LACNIC XIII participants the lively music of the band “streanan di merengue” and the presentation of a Folkloric dance group.

 

The restaurant will offer four different stations of food (Creole station, Grilled skewer sation, Seafood station and Dessert sation) as well as drinks .

Buses leave from the Hilton hotel at 7 pm. Transportation will also be provided for returning to the hotels.

Don’t forget to bring your invitation, which you will find in the folder you received at the registration desk.
