    This is a proposal that refers to the recovery of Internet resources that are identified as unutilized. Currently there is no policy that considers that LACNIC has the authority to recover resources that have already been allocated. This proposal is presented before the public forum in pursuance of the conservation and good use of resources objective.

  • Analysis of Minimum Requirements for IPv4 Block Allocation - Sebastián Bellagamba, CABASE
    This proposal tries to define new criteria for IPv4 block allocation. There is a fundamental criterion for the allocation of IPv4 address space, which is that the applicant must already have a previously assigned volume. This proposal seeks to redefine the conditions that an applicant must satisfy in order to justify the allocation of an address block on the part of LACNIC.

  • Analysis of Alternative Information for Initial IPv4 Allocations - Christian O´Flaherty, IMPSAT
    Currently, the initial IPv4 address allocation policy establishes that an applicant must justify before LACNIC that it already has a volume of addresses assigned by the applicant's ISP and registered in the WHOIS Database. This session seeks to identify and establish new criteria or mechanisms for assessing these applications, providing new alternatives for those who are applying for IPv4 addresses in order to justify an initial allocation.
